About the D2R Drop Calculator

The DiabloBytes Drop Calculator calculates exact drop probabilities for every unique item, set item, and rune in Diablo II: Resurrected using the actual game data files. No guesswork — just real numbers from real TreasureClass tables.

Monster Drops Tab

Search for any item to see which monsters drop it and how often. Results show the base probability at your chosen Magic Find and /players settings. Probabilities are computed by traversing the full TreasureClass tree, including all sub-TCs and the ArmoXX/WeapXX item groups.

Base Finder Tab

Looking for the perfect runeword base? The Base Finder shows max sockets for every base item in D2R, exactly how many sockets Larzuk gives, cube socket recipes with ilvl ranges, and which areas drop each base. Search by item name or runeword — type "Spirit" to find Monarch, Crystal Sword, and other Spirit bases instantly.

Shopping Tab

Shopping works differently from drops. Vendor items have an item level (ilvl) based on your character level, and the affix level (alvl) determines which mods can appear. Some items — like wands, staves, and scepters — have skill charges ("staffmods") that don't depend on alvl at all, meaning you can shop them at any level. Magic Find has no effect on shopping.

Gambling Tab

Gambling has fixed quality odds: 1/2000 for Unique, ~1/1000 for Set, and ~1/10 for Rare. Magic Find does not affect gambling — ever. The key variable is your character level, which determines the item level and therefore the affix pool. Tiaras (maglvl +13) and Diadems (maglvl +18) are the best headwear gambling targets for +skills affixes.
