Season 7 — Season of Witchcraft
Post-VoH first season. Armory launch.
The first fully post-Vessel-of-Hatred season brought Witch Powers, Occult Gems, and — critically — the Armory feature via Patch 2.1. Community reception was strong: Witchcraft offered the first borrowed-power system since Vampiric Powers, and the Armory finally ended the pain of manual respecs.
Seasonal Mechanic — Witch Powers
24 Witch Powers across three Hawezar schools: Eldritch (7), Psyche (6), Growth & Decay (7), plus a Lost school (4). Unlocked via Coven questline and Headhunt zones (Helltide-style with stacked Whispers). Occult Gems crafted from Headrotten drops further empowered skills.
Seasonal Boss — Headrotten
Headrotten Bosses spawned via Exposed Roots after Whisper bounties in Headhunt zones. Appeared as Headless Husks or rare Fugitive Head variants.
The Armory — Patch 2.1
Long-requested QoL feature. Save up to 5 full build loadouts — skills, Paragon, gear — and switch between them with a single click. Ended the respec-every-time friction for players running multiple builds.
