Warlock Build Tier List — Season 13 / Lord of Hatred

Updated April 2026

Warlock is the new class debuting in Lord of Hatred and currently sits among the top classes for Season 13 — the best class as of Season 13 due to its high AoE damage, fast pack clears, and easy boss eliminations. 9 distinct build archetypes are tracked at launch. The class trade-off: minimal defensive skill tree, gear-based survival required.

Day-1 ranking caveat. Dread Claws and Minion (Demon Summoner) builds are the most established at launch — they're the most reliable picks on day one. Other builds on the roster are still being developed pending more testing. Tier rankings below reflect launch-week mechanic analysis and meta predictions.

AoE-leaning caster setup. Warlock's high AoE damage clusters around Apocalypse and Demon Summoner trees. Top pick for Echoing Hatred and Pit pushing.

Minion build with permanent demon companions. One of the most established Warlock builds at launch. Strong survivability via demon tanks while you stay back.

Demonform melee variant. Deeper Shadows and Demonic Aspect, in particular, are very strong for a Demonform Dread Claws build. Established at launch.
