Mythic Uniques in Lord of Hatred
By the DiabloBytes team · Updated May 2026
Lord of Hatred adds new Mythic Uniques including El'druin, Sword of Justice and the Seal of Royal Grandeur Mythic Seal, and rebalances the existing Mythic pool. Season 13 awards up to 14 Resplendent Sparks across the Season of Reckoning journey and challenge tiers, and per-Mythic craft cost is 2 Sparks at the Jeweler.
⚡ TL;DR
- El'druin, Sword of Justice — Skill Cooldown reduction after elite kills; useful for cooldown-gated builds.
- Seal of Royal Grandeur — Mythic Seal that reduces charm pieces needed to complete a set by 1.
- Up to 14 Resplendent Sparks in S13 — across journey and challenge tiers. 2 Sparks per Mythic craft (down from 4) — up to 7 Mythics craftable.
- Treasure Goblin bags from Echoing Hatred deep waves are the in-mode primary Mythic source.
Mythic Charm Discovered — Heir of Perdition
A Mythic-rarity Charm version of Heir of Perdition has surfaced in Season 13 via a Reddit screenshot in r/D4Barbarian (u/Jcanlas88) and follow-up YouTube footage. This is significant because the community consensus through the first three weeks of S13 was that mythic unique charms — despite being datamined — were either disabled or held back for a future patch. The new screenshot and clip suggest at least one Mythic Charm is live.
- Type: Ancestral Mythic Charm (slots into the outer ring of the Talisman, not the head slot — distinct from the Mythic Helm version listed below)
- Reported effect: Grants the Mother's Favor buff, with up to ~80% increased damage while active. Also rolled with Bonus Kill Experience and Maximum Life on early screenshots.
- Reported drop source: War Plans final reward turn-in at Tyrael in Temis (player's War Plans were at tier 8/10, charm dropped directly to ground, not from a cache). A secondary outlet also lists Kurast Undercity reward rotations as a possible source — neither has been independently confirmed.
Important caveat: Drop conditions are not independently confirmed by Blizzard or by multiple builds. Icy Veins' primary report explicitly disclaims the drop conditions. Sample size is one screenshot and one short video clip. Treat this as a lead, not a recipe — do not reorganize your endgame routing around it yet.
We'll update this section as more confirmations roll in or as Blizzard speaks to it directly.

Resplendent Spark Sources
Resplendent Sparks are the targeted-craft currency. After the Lord of Hatred update, 2 Sparks at the Jeweler (plus specific Runes for a targeted craft) = 1 chosen Mythic Unique. Season 13's journey grants the widest Spark allowance of any season:

Frequently Asked Questions
How many Resplendent Sparks does a Mythic Unique cost?
2 Sparks per Mythic craft after the Lord of Hatred update — half the previous 4-Spark cost. The Season of Reckoning rewards up to 14 Sparks across the Season Journey and challenge tiers, enough for up to 7 Mythic crafts. Targeted crafting at the Jeweler also requires specific Runes.
What is the best new Mythic Unique in Lord of Hatred?
El'druin, Sword of Justice is a new Mythic — Tyrael's blade reimagined as a 1H sword. Defeating an Elite pack briefly reduces all Skill Cooldowns, which benefits cooldown-gated builds. Seal of Royal Grandeur is a Mythic Seal that reduces the number of charm pieces needed to complete a set by 1, enabling dual-set Talisman configurations.
Where do Mythic Uniques drop?
Lair Bosses (Andariel, Duriel, Grigoire, Varshan, Tormented variants) are the primary boss-source. Echoing Hatred deep-wave Treasure Goblin bags are confirmed primary in-mode source. Mythic Seals drop more starting at Torment 10+. Resplendent Spark crafting at the Horadric Cube is the targeted-drop alternative.
Should I save Sparks or craft early?
Craft your build-defining mythic first — the gear-shape change unlocks the rest of the build. After that, save Sparks for the marquee mythics in the Lair Boss pool that you can't target-farm efficiently (El'druin, Seal of Royal Grandeur).
