Blizzard is finally delivering one of Diablo 4's most requested quality-of-life features. The next update introduces Rebirth, a system that allows players to take characters from the Eternal realm and use them for Seasonal content — and it's already available on the Public Test Realm for testing.

Since launch, seasonal play has required rolling fresh level 1 heroes each season to participate in new mechanics and earn rewards, leaving long-invested Eternal characters parked on the sidelines. Rebirth directly addresses that friction by letting players convert existing characters into seasonal ones instead of starting completely from scratch.
