Three years after its initial launch, Diablo 4 is reportedly making the jump to Nintendo's Switch 2 next month. According to reliable leaker Billbil-kun via Dealabs, Blizzard's action RPG is set to arrive on September 15 or 18 — though with an unusual caveat: buyers would get a physical box containing only a download code, with no cartridge and not even a Game-Key Card included.

The report follows mounting evidence that the game was headed to Nintendo's platform. Back in June, fans spotted a Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating board listing for the Lord of Hatred expansion on Switch 2, and Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson said last year — before the console launched — that "there's opportunity there" to bring Diablo 4 to it, while noting that "live services on Switch have been a little bit challenging in the past."
